I have both the omega and non-omega P-01. I strongly prefer the non-omega trigger. It has a smoother take up and more defined wall. The non-omega is also more upgradable. I do slightly prefer the ergonomics of the omega ambi decocker. Also, I have more time and rounds on the standard P-01 so that may factor into my perceptions. It’s here that I discovered one of the CZ P07’s few flaws… There aren’t many flaws, but the trigger of this specific gun’s double-action is one of them. It’s incredibly heavy, to the point where you worry it might break if you pull it too hard. You likely won’t break it, though. With that said, the trigger itself works flawlessly. The changeover isn’t difficult for the average shooter. The pistol’s double-action trigger is longer and heavier than a CZ 75B and CZ 75 D Police we had on hand for comparison.
